Tender Corporation 5K Run/Walk - Sunday August 17, 2014 - 10:00 AM

Connect with the Outdoors! Get out your running shoes this summer with Tender’s spokesbug and CONNECT With TWO Local Charities!

Ski Mt. Eustis is connecting with the outdoors by returning the local ski hill to the community with a commitment to the love of the winter sports. Located in beautiful Littleton, NH, Mt Eustis has been dormant since the late 1970’s and as a result a whole generation of kids has grown up without a chance to learn to ski or snowboard. The organization has been formed to re-open Mt. Eustis and make it a fun, affordable place for families of Littleton and the surrounding communities to ski and snowboard.

Troop 209 is an active community minded Boy Scout Troop that has served Greater Littleton for over 75 years. Their commitment to outdoor recreation for families and the Scout motto “Be Prepared” reflects Tender’s own commitment to connecting with the outdoors. The Troop is steward to their own campground on Broomstick Road, which is used by not only them but the Girl Scouts and many other families and outdoor minded organizations throughout the year. The campground also nurtures in the boys education of responsible management and care of natural resources.By working with Troop 209, Tender is able to connect with local families working to care for local natural resources and the Troop’s tradition of service projects which have long lasting impacts on the Littleton Area. The donations will also provide Camperships for scouts who would not be able to attend regional and national camps otherwise.
